Breakfast Club

The school runs its own breakfast club staffed by school support staff in our school hall. The club is open from 8am and entry is via our one way system and through the hall back doors. We make a small daily charge for breakfast, providing club places free if required to those who qualify for free school meals. Breakfast club is typically open for 45 minutes and closes just before the children’s first morning lesson.

Breakfast consists of cereals, toast and fruit juices with a range of spreads and healthy alternative options. the chidlren are served and help set up and clear away afterwards. We respond to childrens interests and food preferences to a degree and the club has plenty of equipment and activities to play with, as well as soemtimes using the outdoor spaces in sunny weather. Children of all ages attend the club and play happily together, the older ones helping the younger ones.

Breakfast club helps children to have a healthy start to the school day, they enjoy a healthy breakfast and the opportunity to feel settled and relaxed before the school day begins.
