    Following the launch of the updated School Admission Code 2021, GCC undertook this responsibility for all Voluntary Controlled and Community Schools and have updated our admission arrangements. For details please follow the link below.

    Admissions Policy

    Admission to Reception at Primary School/Year 3 Junior School & Lower to Middle school places for September 2024

    The online application facility for the following groups, Admission to Reception 2024, Transfer to Junior 2024 and from Lower to Middle School 2024 is now open.

    Please click ‘Apply Here’ where you will be prompted to log into your family portal account.

    Should you have any issues, please use our Parent’s Guide to the School Admissions Online Application, available in the related documents column.

    The online application facility is the preferred method for most parents as it allows them to receive an email on allocation day, rather than a letter. However, should you be unable to use it, you can download a paper application form in the related documents column and return this to us.

    It is extremely important that you submit your application by Midnight, 15 January 2024.

    Important notes –

    Before starting your application, we advise you read our Admission to Primary/ Infant School Information Booklet & Guidance Booklet in the related documents column for information on the Admissions process

    If you live in Gloucestershire and are applying for an out of county school, you will still need to apply to Gloucestershire School Admissions.

    If you live in another county you will need to apply to your own authority requesting a Gloucestershire school.  Please note that we will not consider your request or offer a school place unless we receive an application from your own authority.
