23/10/2020 - Pumpkin Competition
Pumpkin Competition Here are some of our wonderful pumpkins, there are more further on in the letters. The children were exceptionally creative this year and it was good to be able to do things “like we normally do” with the families at school. The class staff chose a winner and two runners up for each class but what a tricky task to judge! I think they were all amazing and of course I would want them all to win! They have brought a lot of pleasure and enjoyment and have been much admired by the whole school community and nursery children who pass by each day. Well done everyone for making such a super effort and to our families for joining in and creating such a lovely display. Hope you enjoy the pictures. A big thank you too to Mrs Joynes for the twenty surplus pumpkins which all went in an instant! Another big thank you to the Toy Shop for the cute little runners up prizes, don’t forget to maybe pay them a visit on Saturday 31st to earn a nice treat if you are dressed up in your favourite costumeThe Winners were Class One: Harrison Ray with runners up Darcy and Hudson Bell Class Two: Tori Cook with runners up Edward Lloyd and Effie Powles Class Three: Ella Morris with runners up Isobel Joynes and Ella Goode and highly commended Lily O’Kane Class Four: RJ Antiojo with runners up George Powles and Lily Mae Anderson Class Five: Ava Goode with runners up Poppy Robinson and Milah Keyte
